Born and raised in Maryland to a Christian family, Kristen grew up loving Jesus and crab cakes. She always felt a pull towards cross-cultural ministry; serving on numerous missions trips and hosting children from Belarus every summer. After graduating with a degree in Community Development, she spent time with a software development firm, FEMA Corps, and in youth ministry.

In 2017 she moved to Ireland and serving two years in youth and university outreach at a church plant in Maynooth. It was in those challenging and beloved years Kristen discovered that God gifted and empowerd her for preaching. And that God’s heart for his daughters is far more caring, dignifying, and joyful than our imaginations have capacity for.

With this new found call to preaching and church planting, Kristen moved to Walthamstow, East London to assist in starting a new church that is comprised of and caring for the marginalised. Her work includes pastoral care, community development, social media outreach, and church music. She loves that East London is a prime location to continue training in her sport of choice: boxing.

Kristen and her husband Thanos enjoy being a multicultural couple; representing three countries and two languages in their marriage. They share a love for cooking, hosting meals, and exploring new places.
