Justus and Samantha Heyman along with their four children Isaiah, Thea, Silas and Grace, have been serving the Lord in France since 2005. They have been serving in the Pays de Gex area near Geneva, Switzerland since 2009. Justus served as the associate pastor over youth and young adults at Crossroads Church Ferney Voltaire for three years. The elders invited Justus and Samantha to step out in faith and launch a new international church in the area, which is exactly what they did. Justus is now the lead pastor of Crossroads Church Thoiry, which started in September of 2012.
Before moving to France, Justus and Samantha lived in San Diego, California where Justus served as the director of junior high ministry at Solana Beach Presbyterian Church for 7 years. Samantha also served in this ministry and taught junior high science in the local public schools there until their firstborn, Isaiah, came along. They have served the Lord overseas before when they were missionaries in Russia helping lead Horizon Christian Fellowship Pushkin near Saint Petersburg, Russia. Both Samantha and Justus graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University and were born and raised in California. Justus loves playing and watching sport sports of almost any kind and being outdoors in the mountains. Samantha has a real passion for photography.
