Bob and Elizabeth, met while university students in Fredonia, NY where Liz was majoring in Music (violin), and Bob was studying Human Resources Management. They were both leaders in their campus fellowship, Chi Alpha, and after graduating, moved first to Albany and then Ithaca NY to plant campus ministries at the University of Albany and Cornell University. Bob served as a University Chaplain at Cornell for 18 years.
In 1999 Bob and Liz led a team of Cornell student to plant a Vineyard Church in Ithaca, NY. They led the Vineyard for 13 years with Bob serving as lead pastor and Liz as worship pastor. While raising a family and leading a church in Ithaca, Elizabeth also worked in a couple of primary schools, and Bob served on the Vineyard USA church planting team and coached other churches in the northeast in utilising church systems.
During a sabbatical 2010, the Wilsons began to sense God calling them to move to Ireland and help plant churches. In 2012 they moved to Dublin and currently live on the Northside of the city with their youngest daughter.
Bob and Liz were part of the leadership team for an Anglican Church plant in Dublin for two years.
Currently, the Wilsons are partnering with another couple in Dublin to plant The Table, a network of micro-churches in neighbourhoods across the city, and in addition, Bob is working with Friends International to help develop international student ministries in Dublin. In their spare time, Elizabeth teaches violin and guitar, and plays in the Dublin Co-Orch while Bob is working on his MA through the Irish Bible Institute.
