SUMMARY:Simple Discipleship Workshop Taster
DESCRIPTION:What if Discipleship Could Be Simple? What if you could lead not-yet-believers to Jesus using the Bible? What if all you had to do was show up and watch God do His thing? What if you focused on relationship? You can make disciples!  \nDiscovery Bible Studies are being used all over the world to make multiplying disciples of Jesus. A simple and effective tool for leading others to God\, a “DBS” will introduce your friends and family to Jesus and allow them to discover Him through His Spirit\, regardless of their background. \nAs you engage with Jesus in mission through discipling others\, your faith will grow as you watch the Holy Spirit draw people to Himself\, increase their love of scripture\, and develop them into mature disciples of God. \nPeople are interested in discovering God with someone they trust. All it takes is an invitation from someone like you! Whether a young believer or atheist\, the Discovery Bible Study tool creates the space and safety necessary for a person to begin hearing the Holy Spirit of God through reading His Word and responding to what they hear in a non-judgmental and personal way. As they discover God through obedience to His word\, their faith increases and their skepticism and hesitations disappear. This taster of the full course will give you the very basics of simple discipleship.  \nIn this Training Taster you will learn:  \n\nThe basics of the Discovery Study process\nThe key questions and phrases that make it stand out\nHow to facilitate a discovery conversation\nHow to create ownership around individual action steps gleaned from the study\n\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Some outcomes you can expect after the Taster Workshop:  \n\nA simple way to disciple your friends and family\nIncreased confidence in the Holy Spirit’s role in discipleship\nA renewed sense of freedom and excitement to follow Jesus in mission\nThe support of a spiritual community of like-minded believers\n\nThe Simple Discipleship Taster Workshop is a 1 hour appetizer of the 6 session Simple Discipleship Training.
