SUMMARY:Heart Journey Spring Cohort 2025
DESCRIPTION:*All times listed are in Eastern Daylight Time* \nHeart Journey is a 5-week\, facilitated course created by the LK10 organization that confirms the Bible with neuroscience to introduce people to the basics of connecting heart to heart with each other and with God daily. We are privileged to offer this course and thankful to LK10 for sharing it with us! \nYou will learn a new Spiritual discipline\, how to recover from overwhelm more quickly\, how to look for Joy in life\, how to become more aware of your “heart level” feelings\, expand your feeling vocabulary\, how to practice listening prayer\, and how to better discern God’s voice. \nIt is recommended that you take this course with a prayer partner\, spouse\, or someone you feel comfortable being vulnerable with\, as well as someone you can continue to meet with after the course is finished. \nThis course includes 5 – 1.5 hour Zoom sessions with some light reading and listening over a period of 5 weeks. \n\nSession 1: A Track to Run On – Introduction to the Heart Journey process.\nSession 2: Listening and Sharing On the Heart Level – The “Check In” practice.\nSession 3: Daily Conversational Intimacy With Jesus – SIFT\nSession 4: Appreciation and Interactive Gratitude – The Appreciation Memory practice\nSession 5: Where Do We Go From Here?\n\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				What: 5 session cohort training on the Heart Journey process\nWhen: Thursdays\, May 1\, 8\, 15\, 22\, 29 at 1pm Eastern Daylight Time\nHow long: 5 weeks. DESCRIPTION:*All times displayed are in Eastern Daylight Time* \nThe Transition 101 workshop is designed to help provide language for navigating the internal response to external changes. We call this process “transition.” It’s the inner process one goes through to adapt to external changes. In cross-cultural missionary work\, there is lots of change\, and it can be bewildering and very confusing. \nWhatever the transition\, it’s important to know the time has meaning and remind ourselves God is in control. This workshop will give you a framework for understanding what God is doing in the midst of the transition. It will also provide signposts of where to look for Him at work.
